weekend

Ezekiel 37:3

And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
So I answered, "O LORD God, You know."

Psalm 147:15-18

He sends out His command to the earth;
His word runs very swiftly.
He gives snow like wool.

He scatters the frost like ashes.
He casts out His hail like morsels.
Who can stand before His cold?

He sends out His word and melts them;
He causes His wind to blow,
And the waters to flow.

Philippians 2:14

Do all things without complaining and disputing.

this weekend, i attended a Christian teen retreat up in Canada with a group of teens from my youth group. we had a lot of fun playing basketball, listening to good messages, singing, jumping in ice cold water, laughing, eating tacos, and just spending time together.

we also got to walk across the longest covered bridge in the world. :)

i am looking forward to school vacation this week. lately i feel as if i am merely playing catch-up instead of making progress in anything. i am excited for the free time in the week ahead to relax and enjoy doing things that i have not had time to do lately.

what did you do this weekend?

is there anything in the coming week that you are looking forward to?

  2. How neat! It's so very old-fashion...reminds me of the covered bridge that always appears in the Road to Avonlea series. 'Course this one is much longer. ;)

    Blessings, dear!

  3. Grace - I love covered bridges. There is just something about them that is so old-fashioned, like you said. :)

    Blessings,
    Emily.
