poetry // hold fast your dreams

hold fast your dreams
by louise driscoll

hold fast your dreams
within your heart
keep one still, secret spot
where dreams may go,
and sheltered so,
may thrive and grow -
where doubt and fear are not.
oh, keep a place apart
within your heart,
for little dreams to go.

poems i love
the highwayman - alfred noyes
the glove and the lions - leigh hunt
lady clare - alfred lloyd tennyson
lord ullin's daughter - thomas campbell
casabianca - felicia dorothea hemans

the wreck of the hesperus - henry wadsworth longfellow
(p.s. not only have i been to the reef of norman's woe mentioned in the above poem, but i am also related
