Summer always seems too short, does it not? Well, to help with the transition, I made a list of things that I am looking forward to about fall in ABC form. Care to take a look?

where i was

Hello, all!

I am home from camp for a week. I will be up there for the next two weeks. I am still looking for guest posters. If you're interested, please e-mail me!

Anyway...from June 20-30 I was at Christian Youth in Action (CYIA). For the first 4 days, we studied the way that we would share the Gospel. On Sunday we went out on the streets of local cities to share it with people. For the rest of the week, we taught children's Bible clubs and studied for what we were going to teach them. It was a lot of studying and a lot of work, but it was so worth it and so much fun!
I thought that you would enjoy a list of sorts talking about it rather than me attempting to fit 10 full days into one readable post. :)

CYIA was...

...devotions outside on picnic tables and canoe docks...

...studying...

...hard work...

...face painting...

...fellowship time...

...spending time with my friend Emily...

...note writing...

...early morning breezes...

...dragonfly wings buzzing...

...mosquitoes biting...

...rainy days...

...my umbrella turning inside out while I ran through the rain...

...puzzles and card games...

...listening to the radio on car rides...

...teaching children...

...reuniting with my family...

...a commissioning service...

...doing my sister's hair...

...laughter...

...hugs...

...promises...

...looking forward to a great summer...

lately...

Lately I have been...

//studying for finals {Tuesday and Wednesday of next week!}//

//working on end-of-the-year school projects//

//cleaning//

//bowling//

//geometry//

//attempting to remember French verb tenses, when to use them, and how to conjugate them//

//enjoying/getting sick of rain//

//happy to see sunshine//

//really busy//

This summer, I am going to be working at camp pretty much all summer long. I will have hardly any time to post. So...I was wondering if any of you would be willing to quest post for me. If you would like to, you can
e-mail me at knittingphotography (at) gmail (dot) com. I would really appreciate it!

I was tagged!

I was tagged by Lizzie over at My Imaginary Horse. As I just did this a little while ago, I'm not going to tag anyone else or ask any new questions, but I will answer Lizzie's questions. :) Thanks for tagging me, Lizzie!

1. What do you want to be when you grow up?
         I really don't know. An accountant, maybe. I would love to own an Etsy shop and be a wife and mother.
2. If you could be any animal what would you be?
    Hmmm....I really have no idea...I am honestly not a huge animal person!
3. Do you make your bed everyday?
      Yes. I do it before I even get dressed. I need order in my life {in the form of a neat bed and to-do lists, mostly :)}
4. Would you call yourself an organized person?
      Haha...I didn't know this question was next. :P For the most part I am. My room can get a little messy quite often, but I clean it up when I have time, make lots of lists, keep everything neatly divided in binders...yeah, I would say that I am organized.
5. What is the most embarrassing thing you have done?
     See, if something embarrasses me, I forget about or think of it as funny, so I don't really have a most embarrassing moment. Probably just anytime I speak without thinking beforehand.
6. If you could go to Narnia for one whole day, but had to win several battles in that day would you still go?
     YES!! I would love the go to Narnia. :)
7. What do you like more being inside or outside?
     Inside. More of my favorite activities are indoors, so that's where I prefer to be. In warmer weather I do love to be outside, though.
8. Do you like cooking or baking better?
     Baking, definitely.
9. Would you rather sleep outside with no blanket or sleep inside where there was lots of spiders everywhere on the walls? (VERY random question)
     Outside with no blanket. I'm not scared of spiders necessarily, but I wouldn't be able to stand sleeping with that many around me.
10. What would you call yourself, smart or adventurous?
     I would go with smart. I am very cautious. :)
11. Are you a horse person or a dog person?
     Horse person. I don't spend much time with horses (read: none), but when I do I enjoy it. Dogs, on the other hand...it really depends on the dog.

Thanks again for tagging me, Lizzie!

Edit: I was tagged again by Kelsey at A Ray of Sunshine. I won't do another 11 things, but I will answer her questions. :)

1. What is your comfort food/drink? Chocolate (isn't that everyone's answer? :P), ice cream, and popcorn. I don't really have a comfort drink, but if I had to pick, hot chocolate would be mine.
2. If you inherited a million dollars, what is the first thing you would do with your money? Donate some of it to a favorite charity...and then buy a whole lot of yarn. :)
3. What is one of your favorite things to catch a whiff of? Pretty much anything baking.
4. If money wasn't a factor, what stores would you shop in? Hmm..Anthropologie, my favorite Etsy shops, and little yarn shops.
5. What are your favorite animals? Puppies and kittens (as long as I don't have to take care of them :P)
6. What movie or book character can you most relate to? Hmm...I don't really know...I am a lot like Emma in Emma, but not completely. But I can relate to her.
7. What is your greatest fear or strange phobia? Does disliking the smell of cooking cheese count as a strange phobia? If not, it would be that I am scared of driving on the highway.
8. Out of the four seasons, which one would you like to last all year around? Autumn. As long as the leaves lasted the whole time.
9. Do you like pickles? I LOVE dill pickles. Other kinds of pickles, well...
10. What is your favorite book? Persuasion by Jane Austen.
11. What is your favorite movie? It's a Wonderful Life.

Time is Priceless.

Hope you have a great Wednesday!
