Since I last blogged...

My time since I last blogged has been spent going to the beach, working at camp, doing hair and nails, and celebrating Chloe's fourth birthday. I have a few post ideas floating around that I will try to post before we head down to Pennsylvania to drop Abbie off at college.Where has the time gone? But that's another post...

Chloe

This is Chloe. I call her Funnykins. I don't really know why. I just come up with nicknames for all of my younger siblings.

She has big brown eyes and a smile that can light up a room. Her laugh makes everyone laugh with her.

she is always willing to smile for my camera.

Oh, how I love my little Funnykins.

where i will be

hello, all!

i will be gone from thursday through saturday. i will be attending the maine allstate festival which is where people from all over the state auditioned for either band, orchestra, or chorus and the top however many get in. at the festival we rehearse like crazy and then perform on saturday afternoon. the auditions were on my birthday, actually, so i was gone all day on my birthday, but it was worth it to make it in.

so, that is where i will be!

here are some photos just because no post is complete without them:

i hope you all have a great weekend!

First Day of October

Happy First Day of October, everyone!

Francesca is holding a photo contest and this week's theme is fall.

This photo means fall to me because of the leaves on the ground, but also because of the little red schoolhouse in the background.
(Oh, and the effect I used for this picture was Cross Process on Picnik. I love it!)

Another thing that means fall to me is baking.
This morning I baked with these cuties.
Aren't they just too cute?
We made chocolate chip cookies (sadly, from a mix. It was in the cupboard and was easier to make with little people than cookies from scratch).

Sadie and Chloe
I made these muffins this morning, also. The recipe is the Create Your Own Muffins recipe from this post by  Royal Daughters of the King. For these muffins, I put a cup of strawberries in the batter.

They taste pretty good. :) I honestly had never had muffins with strawberries in them before, or at least not that I can remember.

Cuties

This is Natalia. She is 9 months old.
I love her little scrunchy face when she smiles.
I love how she poses when i pull my camera out and she never gets fazed, no matter how close I hold the camera to her face.
You can't see it here, but her eyes are an adorable dark, dark brown.
She is smiling, huggable, kissable cuteness in a little bundle.
Too sweet.

This, lovelies, is Chloe. She is 3 years old.
She also has adorable dark, dark brown eyes. They light up when she's happy, which is just about all the time.
She smiles as soon as I pull my camera out.
When I come home from school, she says "I missed you, Em!"
Chloe called me her best friend the other day.
Too cute.

I love editing pictures of these two!

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Random List of Random Things

Random Things Today

1. I am wearing my favorite purple scarf.....

2. With my brand new Eeyore socks. :)

3. Today was the last day of my first full week of full time public school. (Before we had only had a four day week and before that a two day week).

4. The weather finally started cooling down today. Earlier this week it was 70-something degrees and today it's about 55 degrees. :)

5. In chorus at school we are singing this song and this song and I love them. I can't wait to perform them!

6. My little sisters are adorable. Enough said.

Sadie, Natalia, and Chloe. You may remember Chloe from my last post.
7. Note to self: I really should put up a page of just my siblings so if I reference them, you can go and see who they are.

8. We made smoothies at school today in a home ec. class. My group's smoothie still had little chunks of ice in it. Whoops!

9. I made these things called Cinnamon Balls the other day. Next time I make them I'll try and take pictures and put up the recipe. I got the recipe from a past issue of

which is a great magazine for Christian girls that you should check out and subscribe to because it's really good.

So, that's my randomness for the day. :)
Did you enjoy my ramblings?
Have a good day!

Sweet Little Sister

Chloe

This is my little three year old sister, Chloe. She is simply adorable. Yesterday she told me that I was her best friend. :) She is just too sweet! I love how she scrunched up her nose in this picture. That's not how she always smiles, but it's still pretty cute. I love her.

I am linking up this photo to:

The theme is "Siblings." I have eight of them, but I decided to enter this photo because I love it (as if I hadn't said that already. :P)

Go on over and check out the other entries!
