I sit down and buckle myself into the swing. I sit, waiting for the ride to begin. The chains jerk. I slowly start moving forward. I go higher. My eyes close and I stretch out my arms. I feel as if I am soaring higher and higher with nothing holding me down.
So this is what it feels like to fly.
The chains jerk. I open my eyes and see my swing and buckle. The ground is under my feet. My flight is over. As I walk away, I turn and look back at the swings, saying good-bye to my amusement park daydream.
If any of you didn't know, Picnik is shutting down in April. This is very sad, and the only perk is that premium is free for everyone to use until they shut down. So, the other day I was playing around with some touch-up effects and turned this photo:

See how much you can do with a simple editing program? True, professionals do a much better job than I did, but the effect is still the same. Many girls compare themselves to models who have been airbrushed, digitally shrunk, and professionally photographed.
This video is an example of how this is done:

My mom, older sister Abbie, and my four youngest siblings visited friends in Connecticut last weekend. These photos are a little overdue. :) But hey, better late than never, right?
We walked down to the beach on Sunday after church.
I have now officially decided that I want to own a little cottage on the beach on an isolated stretch of sand.
It is so going to happen.
Oh, feet photos. I couldn't help taking some pictures of them. :)
There were so many more shells on their beach than our beaches in Maine! It was crazy.
This is Sarah and I. Oh, and those are Sarah's hands.
This is the shadow of Sarah's hands.
Sarah and I walked in a heart shape (on purpose). I thought it looked pretty cool.
Oh, feet. Photos of you make me happy. :)
We were able to attend a Stephen Curtis Chapman concert Sunday evening. :)
This guy is Josh Wilson. He played a wicked guitar. (Sorry, I had to use a Mainer word. I couldn't think of any other word that fit).
This guy was Andrew Peterson. He talked in a British accent while telling a story. It was pretty cool.
