Borrowing Photographs About me elsewhere Lovelies Goldberry Artisans

about me

I am Emily Ruth, an eighteen-year-old girl with a heart for Jesus, a life full of mistakes, and a dislike for writing things about myself. Some of my favorite things include books, vintage cars, photography, knitting, skirts, china tea cups, high heels, tea, Sherlock, BBC in general, and people.

I am a Canadian-born American living in Maine {which is not part of Canada, by the way, and we do not have snow all year, contrary to popular belief}. My father is a Baptist pastor, and I have been washed by the blood of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'd love to talk to you about that, if you have any questions.

I live with my parents, my eight siblings, and three cats.

Ever since I can remember, I have loved to read and create things, especially when it means reading and knitting at the same time.

I am a homeschooler at heart, but I currently attend public school.

My favorite books and authors include (but are not limited to) Jane Austen, Gone with the Wind, Louisa May Alcott, Lucy Maud Montgomery, Julie Klassen, Wives and Daughters, Agatha Christie, The Fault in Our Stars, and Francine Rivers.

Knitting is my life. I take it with me everywhere; I knit while reading, watching tv, and riding in the car;
I almost always have at least three projects going. You can see my creations here.

My life is a musical. I sing all day, either out loud or in my head. Pianos make me happy, as do string instruments.

But most of all, this blog is a place in which I share my thoughts, ideas, photos, projects, and life with all of you. I hope you will stay for a little chat and check out my find me page to get connected with me.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
